Proposed Itinerary

Discover hidden Ireland — from its small fishing villages and historic sites, to its modern cities and vibrant culture.

23 May (Sun.) Depart from your home airport to Dublin, Ireland. Dinner en route.

24 May (Mon.) Early morning arrival in Dublin. Group meets at "Deirdre McKiernan Tour" sign in arrivals hall. Travel in your luxury touring coach to Belfast. En route, visit the neolithic tombs at Bru na Boinne, the high cross at  Monasterboice and St. Patrick's grave at Downpatrick. Two nights at the Europa Hotel.

picture of Ireland tours25 May (Tues.) Day tour with visits to City Hall, the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and Mount Stewart Gardens on the Ards Peninsula. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
 
26 May (Wed.) Taking the scenic route, we visit the Giants' Causeway, one of the Wonders of the World, the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, and a tour of Derry city on our way to Letterkenny, Donegal, for two nights at the Ramada Encore Hotel.

27 May (Thurs.) Day tour of the Inishowen Peninsula. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.


28 May (Fri.)
Travel via Donegal town and Enniskillen, with a visit to Florence Court (one of Northern Ireland's most important 18th century houses), en route to Rooskey for one night at the Shannon Key West Hotel.

picture of hidden Ireland tours29 May (Sat.) Travel via Strokestown, Tulsk, Castlerea, Ballyhaunis, Tuam on our way to Galway for two nights at the Connemara Coast Hotel.

30 May (Sun.) Day trip to Inismaan, one of the Aran Islands and once home to playwright John Millington Synge. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

31 May (Mon.) Off to Killarney for two nights at the Killarney Towers Hotel,via the Burren, Loop Head Drive, and Listowel.

picture of an Ireland guided tour1 June (Tues.) Day tour of the Dingle Peninsula, with some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland. Browse in the quaint fishing village of Dingle before returning to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

2 June (Wed.) Off to Dublin, via Mallow, and a visit to the famous Rock of Cashel. Two nights in the Mont Clare Hotel.

3 June (Thurs.) Day free in Dublin.

4 June (Fri.) Alas! All good things must come to an end. Off to Dublin airport for those heading home today (please arrange flights after 11 a.m.).
